Our Story

Every life is full of thresholds—moments when the landscape shifts and something new comes into view. In the wake of a loss, on the cusp of a new chapter, or simply through inward intention, we are constantly remaking ourselves. Mirrette offers a ritual to mark these milestones and moments of growth. 

Each fragrance aligns with a number and a form of water, drawn from the study of numerology and water’s capacity to heal and inspire. Together, these symbols reflect our journeys, guide our intentions, and offer soul-deep comfort through ritual. 

A Message from Our Founder

I founded Mirrette because I struggled to find the perfect gift for a friend or family member, something meaningful that honors life’s significant moments like the birth of a child, a career change, the loss of a loved one, or embracing a new chapter.

 

The inspiration for Mirrette came from a deeply personal experience. When a close friend was diagnosed with cancer, I was introduced to numerology and angel numbers through her journey with a spiritual healer. After her courageous battle, she passed away peacefully at 4:44 p.m. The next morning, her husband sent me a message at 11:11 a.m., sharing the news of her passing and the time of her death. As I mourned her loss, these repeating numbers brought an unexpected sense of comfort and connection, reminding me that even in her absence, her presence was still felt. This experience shaped my belief in the power of symbols, rituals, and meaningful moments, which inspire every fragrance we design at Mirrette.

 

I have always been drawn to deep connections, something I have felt strongly as an identical twin. My sister, Melissa, and I have shared an unspoken understanding our entire lives, and that sense of reflection and closeness is something I wanted to weave into every product we offer. Our candles are meant to connect you with your soul or someone special, offering a meaningful gift or a moment of personal ritual.

 

We are dedicated to creating candles that are as safe as they are luxurious. Our fragrances are made with premium oils and a clean-burning soy-coconut wax blend. They are free from paraffin, phthalates, sulfates, and parabens, are vegan and cruelty-free, ensuring a pure, long-lasting fragrance experience.
